Mallery Chabot, Master Trainer and owner of Happy Paws has had years of experience working with many different breeds of all ages in the canine community. She is a member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) which advocates the use of positive reinforcement training.
She has gained practical and formal skills in dog training through Animal Behavior College where she graduated with honors. She now applies this knowledge and experience in every aspect of her classes. Each class has been developed to benefit each dog as an individual, to reach your goals for them as well as access a center and peace for your dog.
Using positive based training methods, she will show you how to connect with your dog and communicate with him. In this way, he will learn and understand what is expected of him in a positive, fun, and exciting way. No harsh corrections, electronic devices, or choke collars! It is her belief that every dog should be given the opportunity to succeed, be loved and thrive.
Her love for animals has made dog training not only a profession, but a privilege and a passion. Happy Paws Dog Training & Pet Sitting is a dream realized offering many services during all stages of life and development. Training your dog is crucial and will make the difference between having a dog and a companion. Training offers the unique opportunity to solve and work through things calmly and effectively so that your canine may live in his forever home. Each session is tailored to your dog's individual needs in your home and more importantly in his environment, where many behaviors frequently surface.
"As your dog trainer my goal is to help you bridge the gap between you and your dog so that you may both have a strong lifelong relationship. During sessions your dog will build confidence every step of the way as you are guided through each class in the comfort of your own home. Your dog will look to you as the leader as well as love and respect you in a way you may never have thought possible. I will help you navigate through the challenges you may already be facing with your dog, and broaden the horizons for both of you. I will provide you with the tools to succeed for the life of the dog and the enrichment of your lives."
